Coach Gabe Ortiz is a highly accomplished baseball coach with an impressive track record of success at both the high school and collegiate levels. Coach Ortiz is currently in his first year as the head coach at Kofa High School, but he has been a coach in the program for the past 23 years, during which time he has made a significant impact on the program's success.

Coach Ortiz has also coached at Arizona Western College, where he was highly regarded for his ability to develop and motivate players. He has had the privilege of working with some of the top young players in the country as part of the Team USA National Trials Staff, and his expertise has also been recognized by Perfect Game, one of the most respected scouting organizations in baseball, where he serves as an associate scout.

Currently serving as a birddog scout for the Cleveland Guardians, Coach Ortiz has a keen eye for talent and is highly regarded for his ability to identify and develop young players. He has spoken at numerous coaching conventions, including the prestigious ABCA National Convention, AZBCA Convention, USA Community Clinics, and Coaches Insider. His insights and expertise are highly valued by coaches and scouts throughout the baseball community.
