Coach Damien Hernandez is a dedicated pitching coach with a passion for helping young players develop their skills on the mound. For the past three years, he has served as the pitching coach for Kofa High School, where he has been instrumental in helping the team achieve success on the field.

Born and raised in Wellton, Arizona, Coach Hernandez is a proud graduate of Kofa High School, where he honed his skills as a baseball player. After graduating in 2017, he went on to play at Arizona Western College and later at South Mountain Community College, where he continued to develop his pitching abilities.

Coach Hernandez's love for the game of baseball extends beyond just playing on the field. He has also been heavily involved in coaching and management at the national level. He has had the opportunity to work with USA Baseball at the NTIS level, where he helped lead the 12u Southwest Team to a silver medal in Cary, North Carolina. He has also worked with Perfect Game tournaments, using his experience and knowledge to help manage successful events.
